The religious women's organization 'Aisyiyah, with an estimated membership of approximately 20 million, has actively contributed to the prevention of child marriage through a range of initiatives. These include the development of Regional Action Plans (Rencana Aksi Daerah/RAD) for the Prevention of Child Marriage in districts such as Probolinggo and West Muna, as well as the formulation of Village Regulations in 11 villages across 10 provinces. 'Aisyiyah has also established joint agreements with multiple stakeholders to provide sexual and reproductive health education, conduct health assessments, and deliver counseling services for victims of child marriage. Furthermore, the organization has published the Sakinah Family Book and implemented the Bina Keluarga Sakinah programme to promote pre-marital preparedness, improve access to reproductive health services, prevent Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C), and foster community engagement in efforts to prevent child marriage.
